"All the Way" is a song Frank Sinatra recorded initially under Capitol Records for the All the Way soundtrack. The song was subsequently released as a single under the label with Fred Fischer's "Chicago." This initial single of "All the Way" peaked at #15 on the charts of 1957.

Sinatra recorded the song again under his own Reprise label. Sinatra performed the song for his 1963 album, Sinatra's Sinatra, an album focusing on songs Sinatra had been accustomed to from his Columbia and Capitol years. This recording of the song was later featured in Sinatra's 1964 album, Sinatra Sings Days of Wine and Roses, Moon River, and Other Academy Award Winners.

This song was performed live by Sinatra several times and can be found on the live albums, The Main Event – Live and Frank Sinatra with the Red Norvo Quintet: Live in Australia, 1959.

Along with Kenny G, Sinatra rerecorded this song for his 1993 Capitol album, Duets. This version was in a melody with "One for My Baby (and One More for the Road)."

Lyrics[]

When somebody loves you
It's no good unless he loves you - all the way
Happy to be near you
When you need someone to cheer you - all the way

Taller than the tallest tree is
That's how it's got to feel
Deeper than the deep blue sea is
That's how deep it goes - if it's real

When somebody needs you
It's no good unless he needs you - all the way
Through the good or lean years
And for all the in between years - come what may

Who knows where the road will lead us
Only a fool would say
But if you'll let me love you
It's for sure I'm gonna love you - all the way, all the way
