Like most of Sinatra's albums, this too was composed by Nelson Riddle. Songs for Swingin' Lovers! was first released in 1956 and houses some of Sinatra's greatest hits such as "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "You Make Me Feel So Young."Riddle's arrangements in the album are primarily swinging grooves that try not to blare out to the listener and are rather subtle and more quiet compared to many of Sinatra's later swinging records. The album art initially featured an orange design with a shadowed Sinatra looking aside from a young couple. In 1957, Capitol Records changed the album's artwork to depict Sinatra looking at the couple. This new art follows through with all new releases of the album. Featured Song"I Believe" is a song Frank Sinatra recorded under both Columbia Records and Capitol Records. This song was first recorded by Sinatra for the soundtrack to the film It Happened in Brooklyn. This performance was released as a single in 1947 along with the B-side "Time After Time." This song peaked at #5 on the charts of that year, while its B-side peaked at #16. In 1957, Sinatra later recorded the song again under Capitol Records, recording many of his Columbia classics with new Nelson Riddle arrangements.
