Sinatra-Basie: An Historic Musical First, referred to as Sinatra-Basie, is a 1962 studio album of Frank Sinatra. The album is Sinatra's thirty-seventh studio album.

As the title suggests, this is Sinatra's first collaboration with Count Basie and his orchestra.

Reception Edit

Allmusic gave Sinatra-Basie a positive four out of five star rating, praising the album's rhythm with its percussion and Sinatra's "free singing" used throughout the album, giving it a very loose and free feel.[1]

Mogo gave the album a perfect five out of five score.[2]

Sinatra-Basie peaked #5 on the Billboard 200 charts in 1963.
